1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Combifi's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Combifi. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use Combifi's application and services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you are prohibited from:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the software
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notations
  • Transfer the materials to another person
  • Share content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
  • Share payment information that results in unauthorized money transfers from another user's financial account.
  • Abuse the app or websites with bots or scripted automations to exploit the web resource and cause disruption to other users.
  • Attempt in any way to retrieve data of other users which the app or website does not intend to show to the current user.

4. Disclaimer

Combifi's services are provided "as is". Combifi makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Financial Information: Combifi is a personal finance tracking tool only. We do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Any financial metrics, ratios, or insights shown are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.

Payment Processing: Combifi does not process payments. We only facilitate the sharing of payment information (such as QR codes or payment links) between users. All actual money transfers occur through third-party payment services, and Combifi bears no responsibility for such transactions.

Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service. We are not liable for any downtime, service interruptions, or data sync issues.

5. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Combifi be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Combifi's application, even if Combifi has been notified of the possibility of such damage. In no event will we or our owner, employees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. The contrary contained herein notwithstanding, in no event shall Combifi's liability to you for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the application. If any, by you to Combifi in the last 6 months prior to the event giving rise to the liability or RM 30, whichever is lower.

6. User Data and Privacy

We collect basic data to provide the Service, including:

  • Expense and income records you input.
  • Payment information (such as QR sketches, links, or text) you voluntarily provide to facilitate reimbursement.
  • Feedback you share with us.

7. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

8. Splitting and User Interactions

Combifi enables users to split group expenses and view shared records. You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of payment information you provide.
  • The legality and fairness of any payment requests or splits made using the Service. We do not mediate disputes between users.

9. Intellectual Property

We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to the all source code, database, functionality, software, audio, video, text, photograph, graphics website, and application (collectively, the "Content"). as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks").

Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Malaysia and foreign countries (and various intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws).

All content, features, and code in Combifi belong to us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for personal use.

10. Revisions

Combifi may revise these terms of use at any time without notice. By using this application, you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms of Use.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to usage of our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Upon request prior to termination taking effect, we will provide a reasonable period for you to export your data, except in cases of serious Terms violations.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Malaysia to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms.
